Dont you know you're really gonna be someone

To every woman that cries at the cheesiest chick flicks
To every woman that puts on a good face when the daily volleyball game gets too frustrating and they want to rip their hair out
To every woman that's supportive of her boyfriend
To every woman that stays strong for 6 months and then gladly falls into an emotional puddle of protoplasm
To every woman who gives into the un-tamable power of human emotions and cries at Brad Paisley videos
To every woman who soon realizes her insanity and curses her hormones with a smile
To every woman who laughs when she realizes how goofy she has just acted.
Here's to you: the college aged emotional woman

(note: this note is meant to be humorous, and helpful. Men, we women go through this. We don't show it most of the time but once every 6 months, you can't help but me a total wuss.:) It feels good, try it some time.)

Cardco and Kelbyloo

"Hi, Matt." "Hi, Kelsey." "You're really here aren'tcha?" "Yeaaaah...."

Those days were never too long and never too hot.

A cricket is now inhabiting some bushes outside of my window to the computer room. It's nice to have him here, he's very calming.
This summer was wonderful...Different from what I thought it was going to be like, but wonderful none the less. As school's approaching I'm getting excited but also a little hesitant. Another year to sink or swim; another year to do wonderfully or make it by the skin of my teeth; another year to participate in life or watch it sail bye. In all these instances I chose to swim, do wonderfully, and participate in life. My classes seem promising, and I have friends returning to me soon, I am excited. Yes, I chose to do well.
Some of my favorite parts of the summer were those that one'd find ordinary. Driving around in a topless Tempest at night, Perseid meteor watching with my lifeguards, being known around work as the best cleaner ever, having three jobs and loving each one, my sister coming home, my cousin's wedding, the 4th of July with my Trav, Finally meeting what could only be described as a figment of imagination until he's standing there right next to your best friend, my first in-service, touring strawberry fields, seeing Transformers and LOVING it, cars, roasting marshmallows on campus and getting my face nearly burnt off, meeting new boyfriends and approving, watching Sam get closer to his dream: even if that means saying goodbye, being completely vulnerable and surprisingly ok with it, and waking up every morning to the smell of a summer sun. I only get one summer 2007 and I'm squeezing out every ounce of fun from it that I possibly can while I still have time.

Aaaah...

Thank God for families, weddings, my little ponies appearing on your knee during a ceremony, hubcaps falling off, meeting new cousins, and of course...Roses.

2:30 and Alert

I love my new friend, Matt. Hi, Matt!:)
Anyways, he's in town from Monroe, LA. and though we've been friends through a friend, we've finally met and become REAL friends instead of friends in law...Yeah, ANYWAYS. SO, I check my vandal mail today and I get this notice saying, "because of reasons beyond our control, Hula has been turned into beginning AFRICAN Dance." What the heck!? I'm livid! I didn't want to learn to dance for Africans, I wanna be a HAWAIIAN AND THE ONLY WAY I'LL GET ACCEPTED INTO HAWAIIAN CULTURE IS IF I GET BETTER AT HULAAAAAAA! Ugh...So, I signed up for volleyball. Yep, volleyball. Never did it in high school, and there's a first time for everything so I figure,"why not?" I'm bummed about my hula being taken away from me, but at least I still get to be active, right? Right.
I'm in pretty good-sounding classes this semester, I hope I don't turn lazy too soon. My goal (as everyone's should be) is to skip class the least amount possible and work to the best of my abilities. Last year there were a few occasions I "accidently" didn't set my alarm. BAAAAD KELSEY! Not this time! No! Responsibility! I worked too hard this summer for all that tuition and I'm not gonna throw it away because I'm nocturnal. Nooooooo way hooosay. SO, hula gone, volleyball in, Matt here, heart happy, Travis BEAUTIFUL, summer livin', autumn coming, birthday arriving.
♥ Kels

p.s. I GET ANNA AND DANIEL AND TRAV ALL AT THE SAME SCHOOL! How blessed am I!?!?!

Is it your eyes? Is it your smile? All I know is that you're drivin' me wild

School starts in 18 days.
Anna'll be there and so will Travis.
Daniel doesn't talk to me anymore.
I don't know why....at all.
I need a vacation.
I need some star gazing.
I trust God.
My sister comes home soon.
I listen to country far too much.
Saturday's my last day at Ottos.
I need another job.
I want to move out.
I'm too sentimental for my own good.
Summer's are more fun taken.
I love the drive in.
I get to go see Taylor Swift again in October.
Life is Good.
