Oversized shoes or an omen?

In the past week, I've lost my shoe twice while trying to go up a flight of stairs. Does this mean I'll meet Prince Charming?

Tonight I got acausted by an entire sorrority.

I was driving down a hill from Student Health because my dad ran out of gas so I had to bring him some. So on my way down, this entire sorrority runs out into the middle of the street and starts dancing. They must have been having a theme party cuz they were all in wife beaters and jeans...Ironically enough, one was holding a gas can. Anyways, so there I am, just sitting there waiting for their little pow wow to end. They were singing "I wanna rock and roll all niiiiiiiiight and party every day" and knew every single word. It was so messed up. About 2 minutes later, the head sorrority person told them to clear the way to let me pass, so I drove bye all while being "wooooo!!!!"ed at. It was So weird. It totally could have been part of a movie it was THAT rediculous, as I was turning the corner, I saw the frat boys coming out of their house and uniting with the group...The rest is just diminishing noise and bouncing sillouetes in my rear view mirror.

Big Ol' Jet Air Liner

Today as I was cleaning off tables at work I noticed a very sweet couple. They were sitting close gazing at eachother, one in a wheel chair, the other with tiny, crooked legs. I see them around Moscow all the time, she's chatting away with her legs being challenged, but working, while he can do nothing but listen. I heard him talking to her. His words are slow and dragging and his movements are jerky and under developed. They are quite the couple and I loved taking little glances their direction. I saw them share a kiss. It wasn't a hollywood we're-so-cool-we-kiss-like-it's-no-big-deal kiss. It took effort. Though his motor skills are less than developed, he leaned in to kiss her face, and even though his lips weren't in the "proper" kissing form, it was the sweetest thing I'd seen in a long time...It might as well have been the perfect kiss. Their relationship at the Bagle Place today was nothing short of giving lonliness a boot out the door. We were playing Queen on the stereo, and though he couldn't really talk, he was trying to sing along. He'd stroke her back with his hand always in a fist, and she'd smile at him and occasionally touch his other hand. All this was the highlight of my day.


We have pumpkin bread upstairs, but I don't really care about eating it. There's chicken in spaghetti sauce covered with cheese up there, too...But again, it doesn't interest me. I have juice left over from the weekend which semi-appeals to me, but drinking calories is worse than eating a cookie. As of now, eating seems like a hassle. I'm too tired to eat. It's too boring when there's no one else around. I'm not even hungry either; therefore, I will not eat. I am lazy, tired, a tiny bit discouraged, and just stuck in this silly neutral state. Something exciting'd be nice for a change.

It was this side of 4 months ago that I was doing my final packing for my week long trip to Hawai'i.

September 2nd..welcome to my world.

This first picture is of one of our oldest movie theaters. It was closed, but is now re-opened, and shows movies about every other weekend. It's great to see the lights on this building bright and obvious.
Above is the sunset from today. The smoke made it extra red and it was just amazing. Very fun to chase to get a picture of.


Here is Bucers..Well, the sign @ least. This summer it was the site of many fun memories.

Above is The Fountain in Downtown Moscow. I've spent many days sitting right there, talking about all sorts of things with all sorts of people.

Moscow was beautiful tonight. Everything about it seemed perfect and totally photogenic. The smog chokes up the sky during the day, but at night it's still beautiful, warm, and tinted with good memories of the past 3 months.
